About the Course

This class is intended to solidify and strengthen a believers walk with Christ. The course teaches the fundamentals of faith including: identity, how to read/interpret scripture, receive revelation from the Word of God, prayer, and fasting. Upon completion of this course students should have the basis for an ever increasing walk with Christ.

Matt Scott is the founding pastor of The Gathering Place Church in Moody, AL .

Matt is also passionate about linking arms with other churches and leaders. As the Director of Acts One Eight (A18), he works with numerous global ministry leaders to strengthen and equip pastors and churches. By offering training, practical resources, coaching, and helping churches develop a local and global missions strategy, A18 seeks to see the world reached for Jesus Christ by a God-empowered network of churches.

Pastor Matt and his wife Stevi have five children and live in Moody, Alabama where TGP Church was planted in 2011.
