Matt Scott

Matt Scott is the founding pastor of The Gathering Place Church in Moody, AL .

TGP is known for its life-giving culture and focus to lead people into a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt and the TGP leadership have a deep desire to see every person reach their full potential in Christ. This is why TGP Church offers a clear pathway for every member to know God, experience freedom, be empowered/equipped, and be deployed to change the world.

Matt is also passionate about linking arms with other churches and leaders. As the Director of Acts One Eight (A18), he works with numerous global ministry leaders to strengthen and equip pastors and churches. By offering training, practical resources, coaching, and helping churches develop a local and global missions strategy, A18 seeks to see the world reached for Jesus Christ by a God-empowered network of churches.

Pastor Matt and his wife Stevi have five children and live in Moody, Alabama where TGP Church was planted in 2011.
